Vendor Booth Reservation, Payment, and Event Policy

By submitting a vendor application and/or participating in The Jackson Comic Expo, all vendors, guests, participants, and employees acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Event Modifications: The Jackson Comic Expo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, postpone, reschedule, or otherwise change the event date, hours of operation, venue, floor plan, programming, or any other aspect of the event as deemed necessary. Such changes shall not constitute grounds for a refund or cancellation of a vendor agreement.

2. Booth Reservation: Vendor booth space is not considered reserved or guaranteed until payment has been received in full. Submission of an application or partial payment does not guarantee booth placement or availability.

3. Payment Deadline: All booth rental fees must be paid in full no later than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled event date. If full payment is not received by this deadline, The Jackson Comic Expo reserves the right, without further notice, to cancel the vendor's reservation and reassign or rent the booth space to another vendor. Any deposits or payments previously made shall be subject to the cancellation and refund policy set forth herein.

4. Refund Policy: All booth rental fees are final and nonrefundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or inability to attend the event for any reason.

5. Booth Credit: At the sole discretion of The Jackson Comic Expo, a vendor who is unable to attend may be granted a one-time credit equal to the amount of the booth rental fee, which may be applied toward booth space at the next Jackson Comic Expo event. Such credit has no cash value, is nontransferable, and is subject to booth availability and any applicable event deadlines.

6. Liability and Assumption of Risk: Vendors, guests, participants, exhibitors, attendees, employees, volunteers, and their representatives attend and participate in The Jackson Comic Expo at their own risk.

7. The Jackson Comic Expo, its owners, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, sponsors, venue partners, and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, destruction, or misplacement of merchandise, equipment, displays, personal property, vehicles, or any other items, regardless of cause. Each vendor and attendee is solely responsible for securing and insuring their own property. Furthermore, The Jackson Comic Expo shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, accident, or other personal or property damage sustained by any vendor, guest, participant, exhibitor, attendee, employee, volunteer, or any other individual before, during, or after the event, including but not limited to while setting up, participating in, attending, shopping, dismantling exhibits, or leaving the event premises, except to the extent such liability cannot be waived under applicable law. By participating in or attending The Jackson Comic Expo, each individual voluntarily assumes all risks associated with attendance and participation and agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless The Jackson Comic Expo, its owners, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, sponsors, venue partners, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to participation in or attendance at the event, except where prohibited by applicable law.
